Great post, Lucas. Most folks don't think about what type of information they're sharing, especially during all the excitement.

I'm only guessing, but I'm imagining there are criminals taking advantage of geo information posted online. A lot of us, myself included, even have neighbors who follow us on these services; which is why I will never Check-In or add updates when I'm going out of town while my Wife is here.

Just a bad idea, even considering the plethora of various privacy options at our disposal to tweak visibility. Call me paranoid if you will, but I still don't care to risk accidentally leaking this kind of information.

Not to mention the wide range of tools out there that make it too easy... (http://app.bg for one)

Hi Lucas, thanks for this post. I learned two things: 1. The title IS most important. I don't like it, but obviously a great title makes the day. Haven't found "the truth" for a compelling title yet, it's still between the sheets for me. 2. Conversion rate - Stand and Strecht's 706 visitors in a month is great! I don't think that posting more will get you more into business. I've learned to focus on conversion of visitors.

Best wishes for 2012 for you and your team!

What would you like to know? On Facebook, brand awareness could be as important as click through rates but you need to define the goal first.

dang... Didn't get a message about the comment. I set it up without any extra preference. I think it is only per user Ad manager account. Not 100% sure though.

That's awesome, I didn't know that! Do you know if Public Figures are considered small businesses? Or is it purely through creating the ad?

I am trying to figure out if you are able to retain your URL when migrating from a user profile to a business page, perhaps you know the answer?
